Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists (CSHP)
The Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is the national society for pharmacists in hospitals and related healthcare settings. The society consists of nine branches that operate on various levels and represent their members’ interests. The CSHP aims to ensure organisational sustainability and effectiveness and improve patient medication outcomes and safety by advancing practice excellence.
European Association of Hospital Pharmacists (EAHP)
European Association of Hospital Pharmacists is a working community of national associations of hospital pharmacists. Its membership includes representatives of national hospital pharmacy associations in almost all the European Union (EU) Member States, in addition to Switzerland, Norway, Serbia, Turkey, Croatia and the Former Yugoslav Republic Of Macedonia (FYROM). Membership is increasing each year and, at present, EAHP represents the interest of over 21,000 hospital pharmacists all over Europe.
European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT)
The European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) is a non-profit organisation based in Maastricht, The Netherlands, that was established in 1974 in order to allow scientists and physicians involved in clinical bone marrow transplantation to share their experience and develop co-operative studies. The EBMT aims to promote all aspects associated with the transplantation of haematopoietic stem cells from all donor sources and donor types including basic and clinical research, education, standardisation, quality control, and accreditation for transplant procedures.
European CanCer Organisation (ECCO)
In the early 1980s, a few visionaries working in European oncology laid the foundations of the Federation of European Cancer Societies (FECS) at a time when multidisciplinarity in cancer care – the idea that tackling cancer was a team effort that required a coordinated approach – was a relatively new concept. Twenty-five years later, multidisciplinarity is accepted everywhere as being the best way to treat cancer.
European Hematology Association (EHA)
The European Hematology Association was founded in June 1992. Today, EHA – with over 3000 active members from 95 countries – is a consolidated organization that pursues a large and growing number of projects and programs.
European Pharmaceutical Students' Association (EPSA)
The European Pharmaceutical Students' Association (EPSA) represents over 120,000 pharmacy students in 32 European countries. The objective of EPSA is "To develop the interests and opinions of European Pharmacy Students' and to encourage contact and co-operation between them".
European Society of Clinical Pharmacy (ESCP)
The European Society of Clinical Pharmacy (ESCP) is an international association founded in 1979 by clinical practitioners, researchers and educators from several European countries.
European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO)
European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) is the leading European professional organization representing medical oncologists. The Society focuses on a multidisciplinary approach to treatment and has expanded to include radiation and surgical oncologists, as well as other healthcare professionals involved in cancer care. ESMO aims to unite physicians, caregivers, and patients in a global alliance committed to combating cancer and ensuring equal access to quality multidisciplinary treatment.
