About EJHP Science

EJHP Science was launched in March 2005 as a strong platform for publication of scientific output from the hospital pharmacy profession and related disciplines.

Mission Statement

  • To provide a strong platform that concentrates the scientific output of the pharmacy profession and related disciplines
  • To make pharmaceutical innovations and developments in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences accessible for hospital pharmacists to use in all aspects of their clinical, scientific and professional work

Scope and Profile

The aim of EJHP Science is to publish high quality research papers, review articles and case studies which will be of interest to various disciplines within hospital and academic pharmacy. To meet these aims, the scope of the Journal is broad and of relevance to pharmacists working in all areas of hospital pharmacy and interested in research in clinical, technical and social pharmacy as well as pharmaco-epidemiology and pharmacoeconomics.

Vision and Aims

The vision for EJHP Science includes indexing in key literature and major medical databases, and the acquisition of an impact factor to firmly establish EJHP Science at the head of international journals on hospital pharmacy.

Governance

EJHP Science is fully compliant with ICMJE Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals.

EJHP Science is supported by a 23-member International Advisory Board from four continents.
